Negotiate Your Way To Wealth

Do you know
that with one dollar in your hands, you can negotiate your way to one
million dollars? This is what I mean: if you have something to offer,
you can always negotiate for something you want. You don’t have to
have all the money you need to achieve your dreams, what you need is
ideas that would help you strike a deal with the person that has what
you need. Start with what you have, and keep negotiating until you
get to the top.
That skill
you have is enough to take you to the top, if you can negotiate your
way through. You need people to succeed. The solutions to your
problems are with the people around you. Identify those that have
what you want, and think of offers you can make to them to get what
you need from them. Strike a win-win deal with them. A win-win deal
is a deal where both parties gain. Never think of getting anything
from people for free. Always think of something better to give them
in return. There are so many opportunities around you. There are so
many possibilities around you. All you need to do is to see through
that situation, and catch the idea that would settle that deal, and
you will come out better. Everything you need is with people around
you. Dare to ask for it and you would be surprised by what would
happen. However, be sure to offer something better.
A young
author had just put together his first book. There was no money, no
publisher, and no contacts. He phoned a publishing expert to get some
advice. Within a few days, he had people who are willing to work for
him for nothing. He got an editor, a book designer, a publicist and a
distributor. A few more phone calls he got people who are willing to
sponsor the publication. All he did was to negotiate. If you have
something to offer, you can always get what you want by negotiating.
Your skills
would not be noticed until you make an irresistible offer with it.
Your first deals may not bring much your way, but it will showcase
what you can do and how well you can do it. 10% of something is
better than 100% of nothing. When people get to know what you can do
and how well you can do it, they would start looking for you. You can
advertise your skills free of charge. As a beginning Website
developer, nobody knew I existed. What I did was to approach a
popular organization and offered to design a website for them free of
charge. They couldn’t resist the offer. So, I designed the website so
well that anybody that visited it asked for who did the job. That
way, I advertised myself free of charge and people became willing to
do business with me because they could see what I can do. If you have
a problem you can solve, you can negotiate your way to wealth. Start
with an irresistible offer. If you have what people want, you can
negotiate to get what you want from them. Dare to initiate that deal.
The entire people meet, must not agree to do business with you. But
the more the attempts you make, the more the chances for you to get
the right person who will be willing to do business with you. Wealth
building is dynamic. You don’t sit one place waiting for the world to
come to you. Go out there and meet people. Initiate a deal with them.
Tell them about what you can offer and what they would gain. They
can’t resist you because they really need you.
